PRODUCT DIVISION
During the last few years the Government has taken various initiatives
to incorporate the benefits of Information Technology and its tools in
its functioning. The emphasis has been on providing better services to
citizens and in improving their internal productivity.
Backed by our past experiences particularly, the success of Gyandoot
in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, 'Neev' is all set to venture in
the area of E-Governance. Since to create something big the foundation
should be strong we have called this effort of Cyber Infodev Pvt Ltd
as NEEV. It plans to be the one-stop solution to the problems afflicting
the government sector of our country. Its ultimate dream is to make
'E-Governance' a reality in India and other developing and under-developed
countries and that too a successful one. It should be such that both,
the government and its citizens should have faith in the model.
Neev is one of the first of its kind in India the only other competitor
being NIC, which is developing certain software products for the government
sector. There are a few small software vendors too, who get orders from
the government officials since the former are the only IT literates
the officials are in contact with. The real challenge lies way beyond
surpassing our competitors. The very first step is to convince the government
authorities of the need and viability of the e-governance model. A detailed
survey has been done to study the market conditions, the government
functioning, the user requirements, etc. Our surveys and past experiences
have shown that a lot of paper work is done, there is unnecessary redundancy,
etc. This causes delays, inefficiencies, loss of faith in the government
functioning, etc. Neev has strived to wash away all these bottlenecks
in the government system, with the support of both, the government and
its citizens.
We also offer Consultancy services to the government sector to realize
the full potential of the ICT tools, for making their system more efficient
user-friendly.
We shall start at the district level. Due care has been taken in our
products/softwares of the standards that are set by the Rural Department,
which are followed by the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA).
The District Rural Development Authority i.e., DRDA can use Information
Technology for ensuring smoother flow of data and simplifying the process
of availability, communication and access to information by its different
departments. Maintaining database about different schemes, BPL population,
loan information, generating reports, etc are all very important and
time-consuming activities and our software makes it all easy and just
a few clicks away. more>>
